A new Avengers poster I made. I tried to give this one more of a 60's vibe, via the simplicity of the design and adding nice touches like the Avengers logo being based on the old comic book logo.
It includes all the primary "Avengers" from the upcoming 2012 Marvel Studios picture. ENJOY!
PS. The texture I used was a film grain scan by su-Y [link] I had planned on using my own texture but this one just fitted so perfectly into my design I just had to use it!
Hawkeye's bow should be more curved because he is pulling back on the string. Details like that show that you are willing to do bit of practical research in order to make your work seem more real.
Most of the characters seem to be looking to the left of the picture, but Hulk and Black Widow seem to be looking at the viewer. Difference in head direction can distract and take away from the work. Try and keep a constant head direction to minimize any confusion.
Strong aesthetic overall, and nice form to the bodies. The blue background color is very pleasing and contrasts with the black silhouettes well.
Consistency and practicality is key. The Avengers are a team and there attention and bodies should emulate that.
It has the 60's vibe for sure and the colors are great.
I have a few issues; Thor, Hulk and Black Widow look passive here and Hilk and Thor are the twomost bombastic membes of the team. I think a new pose could save them.
Black Widows looksto reserve. Go look at some of the olf Bond girl poses or the British "Avengers" series and you'll see how women of the 60's had more Bombshell appeal.
The Poportions of the hulk are of. A smaller head will fix that.

I Think that's it.
